Forests are cut down to make room for cattle, and the gases these animals produce make global warming worse. Secondly, eating less meat is good for our health. Doctors warn that too much red meat may increase the risk of heart disease, while vegetables, beans and fruit keep our bodies strong. Some people argue that a meal without meat is not satisfying. However, there are many tasty alternatives today, from lentil burgers to seaweed snacks.
