Text 1 · My Pet (קריאה)
My name is Dan. I have a pet dog, and his name is Rex. Rex is three years old. He is big and brown. He has four legs and long ears. He is not quiet, but he is very friendly.Every morning I give Rex food and water. Then I take him for a short walk. Rex likes to run in the garden behind our house. He can jump very high, and he is faster than my brother’s dog. Sometimes he brings me an old shoe in his mouth.
In the evening we play with a ball in the park. Rex runs after the ball, and he brings it back to me. He never makes a noise at other dogs. He sits down quietly and looks at them. Rex is a kind dog.
At night Rex sleeps on the floor in my room. In the morning he wakes me before seven o’clock. I love my dog very much. Rex is my best friend.
Text 2 · My School Day (קריאה)
My name is Maya, and I am eleven years old. I go to school every day. I get up at seven o’clock, and I eat breakfast with my family. Then my friend Tal and I walk to school.School starts at eight o’clock. My first lesson is English, and I like it very much. Our teacher sometimes plays songs in class. At ten o’clock we have a break. We eat and play in the school garden. The garden is big, and we love it.
School ends at half past one. After school I go home and eat lunch with my brother. Then I do my homework at the kitchen table. I always start with science, because science is harder than English for me. Then I play outside for an hour.
In the evening my family eats dinner together. My father asks me about my day, and I tell him about my lessons. After dinner I read a book in my room. I go to bed at nine o’clock. I like my school days.
