Past Continuous: Negative

כדי לשלול פעולה בעבר ממושך, מוסיפים not אחרי was/were: wasn't / weren't + פועל עם -ing. I wasn't sleeping. · They weren't listening. הפועל העיקרי נשאר עם -ing, בלי do/did.
