Past Simple “to be”: Questions

כדי לשאול שאלה עם העבר של be, מעבירים את was/were להתחלה: Was / Were + נושא? Were you at home? · Was she happy? תשובה קצרה: Yes, I was. / No, I wasn't. בשאלות Wh-: Where were you? בלי did.

היפוך was / were

במשפט רגיל הנושא בא ראשון, ואז was/were. בשאלה הופכים: was/were ראשון, אחריו הנושא. אין did. בשאלת Wh-: Wh- + was/were + subject?
