Practice 2: Comparison and Linking

דף תרגול מסכם לשני נושאים שהולכים יחד: השוואה (-er / more ... than), הפלגה (the -est / the most ... in, of), ומילות קישור (and, but, or, because, so, first, then, finally). זו רמה 2: כמעט כל שאלה מבקשת שתי החלטות באותו משפט - איזו צורה, ואיזו מילת קישור. אין כאן כלל חדש - אותו חומר, בשאלות ארוכות וקשות יותר. עבדו על הדף האינטראקטיבי למעלה, ואז ענו על חמשת מערכי התרגילים.

Two things: -er / more

משווים שניים, ואחרי הצורה בא than:

שני עצמים ← faster than; שלושה ומעלה ← the fastest of all. שימו לב שגם מילת הקישור but חייבת להתאים לקשר.

It was cold, so we stayed inside because the wind was strong.

result and reason

so מוביל אל התוצאה ו-because אל הסיבה. באותו משפט אפשר להשתמש בשתיהן, כל אחת בתפקיד שלה.
