Superlative Adjectives

כדי לומר שמשהו הוא ההכי מכולם, משתמשים בהפלגה. שם תואר קצר מקבל the … -est (the tallest), ושם תואר ארוך מקבל the most (the most interesting). אחרי ההפלגה בא לרוב in או of: the tallest in the class.

the … -est vs the most

תמיד מתחילים ב־the. שם תואר קצר מקבל -est, ושם תואר ארוך מקבל most לפניו. אחרי ההפלגה בא לרוב in (מקום/קבוצה) או of (מתוך קבוצה).
