The Passive: Present Simple

בסביל (passive) הדגש עובר מהמבצע אל הפעולה או אל מי שמקבל אותה. המבנה בהווה פשוט: am / is / are + the passive form (צורת הסביל). People speak English here → English is spoken here. את המבצע מוסיפים עם by, רק אם חשוב.

The structure

am / is / are + the passive form

בוחרים את be לפי הנושא: is ליחיד, are לרבים, am ל-I. אחריו תמיד צורת הסביל (the passive form): cleaned, made, spoken, built. הנושא בסביל הוא מי שמקבל את הפעולה, לא מי שמבצע אותה.
